Why We Do It
Philanthropy doesn’t need more money, it needs more people. At Token Ibis, we believe that the organizations that serve our community should reflect the values of everyone. Through Universal Basic Philanthropy, we want to give everyone a voice in social change.
What We Do
We collect donations and grants and redistribute 100% of the funds to you, the community.
Then it’s up to you to donate your free charity dividend to any of our partner nonprofits and make the difference you want to see in Albuquerque.
Pilot Project: Albuquerque, NM
Our team of volunteers has deep roots in the 505, and we can think of no better place to trial run the future of philanthropy than in the valley beneath the Sandia Mountains. If you’re in Albuquerque and want to get involved, we are always looking for volunteers; please reach out at info@tokenibis.org. And if you’d like to support Ibis financially, we’re also accepting donations. But keep in mind that you’re not donating to us — Ibis is 100% volunteer-run. Instead, every penny we receive will be used to kick-start the movement through giveaways to Token Ibis users who can then donate it to New Mexico nonprofits. Ibis is about using money to bring people together. Join the movement, and let’s start something special.
